Hailing from the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, this community lot is a combination of many local smallholder farmers. After coffee cherry is harvested it's brought to the factory and then weighed, after which smallholder farmers collect their earnings on the spot. Coffee cherry is then sent through a disk de-pulper removing most of the fruit, fermented for 24 hours, and then washed again making the entire process 72 hours. We're loving this coffee for the balance - great fruits present up front, but not without a lingering, big bodied finish.
