Located in the Gedeb district of southern Yirgacheffe, the Halo Beriti washing station is located just outside of Gedeb town on the slopes of the surrounding mountains, very high up at 2300 masl. Banko Gotiti is a cooperative from the Southern district of Gedeb, widely held as the birthplace of Arabica coffee. This is a very late season arrival for us, but washed Ethiopian coffees in particular have a way of aging extremely well. This crisp, beautiful example of a washed Ethiopian coffee is perfect if you're looking for a more delicate cup.
