Familia Quipo is a microlot from the Inza region of the Cauca department in Colombia. Each farm in the community of Inza is typically just one or two hectares, handed down through inheritance and split up into small plots over time, through sometimes family plots are gathered together for processing and export like this one. Familia Quipo is primarily Caturra and Colombia varietals, grown at 1800-1900 masl. We were particularly excited about this coffee for the cup clarity, buttery mounthfeel, and it's a ability to be a "beautiful sipper" as our head roaster, Jon, would say.
