Tasting Notes: Dried Apricot, Panela, Black Tea, Lime
We purchased our first washed Ethiopian coffee from the Genji Challa Cooperative this season to work more intentionally in sourcing coffee from Africa transparently. It sounds straight forward but coffee from Ethiopia is rarely single producer due to small farm sizes (much of the coffee is grown in backyards), not to mention cherry pricing is difficult to trace. All that to say, this comes through the Telila washing station where transparency is honored! It’s exceedingly clean, delicious , and fruity - reminds us of an arnold palmer. Enjoy!
